Nevado Pastoruri, Cordillera Blanca
The Nevado Pastoruri. Due to global warming the ice is melting and will eventually disappear.
At 5240m the hour walk to the Nevado Pastoruri was slow and painful but it was worth it! The end of the road for me, the mountain tops of the Cordillera Blanca.

Still cant believe it, i remember when you wouldnt go to the top reck at nans cos it was so far!Lol. And no i cant remember the camera, but then hey, at my age!

Hola Uncle Ray, at that altitude just 1 drink floors you! I tried, got a massive headache and had to go to bed!
