Sacsayhuaman
The military and religious Inca ruins of Sacsayhuaman (the Quechua name meaning 'satisfied falcon´) overlook the city of Cusco. The Incas envisioned Cusco in the shape of a Puma- it´s also an extremely effective defensive mechanism that forced attackers to expose their flanks when attacking the wall.
The spanish conquisators tore most of the blocks down to build their own houses in Cusco. Most of the blocks are bigger than me, I know that´s probably not saying too much but they are hugh!
