Mi nombre nuevo!
My name is pronounced the same as the male spanish equilvalent Luis which caused a few smirks and giggles at first! I quickly changed my name to the female equivalent to avoid confusion, Luisa!In Cusco they are very fond of adding -ito or -ita as a term of endearment. So, the grandson Carlos is called Carlito and the parrot (loro) is called lorita.
All the family call me Luisita! (pronounced lou-sita!)
