Las ruinas de Incas- Pisac

Rinskia (holandia) and Simone (alemania) enjoying the view overlooking the military complex and more extensive terracing. For the Incas, Pisac was used for textiles, religious ceremonies, agricultural terracing (maiz) and a military citadel.

We´re 600m above the town of Pisac. On the steep descent down my legs went to jelly (everyone else skipped down the mountain!)

The Citadel, and the important central inner round room hosting the hitching post of the sun.

My lovely new friends: Mikela, Doris, Danielle, Mattias, Simone (all alemania), Sheryl from Melbourne, and in front Rsinkia (holandia), David (suecia) y little me! (I wore trousers this time).

Unfortunately, most of us were ill during the week and I had ´el raton´ (mouse) in my room- yikey crikes, really horrible! It did rain for most of the week so it was great to have an open fire in the house a few nights and drink a poco copa of vino de roja!
